Illusionist Michael Grandinetti Brings Halftime Magic To The NBA This AprilMichael Will Perform Halftime Shows For Both The Milwaukee Bucks And The Golden State Warriors,While Audiences Watch The Magic With A 360 Degree View
LOS ANGELES, CA – March 31, 2016 – This spring, Michael Grandinetti is bringing magic to the masses when he performs two NBA halftime shows around the country. On April 3, Michael will perform for the Milwaukee Bucks game at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI. Later in the week, Michael will bring his illusions to halftime at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA for the Golden State Warriors game on April 7. With both games involving strong team rivalries, each is set to be a near sell-out. This means that, in one week, nearly 40,000 people will witness Michael’s magic LIVE.
Over the past several years, Michael has performed nearly 30 large-scale shows for NFL, NBA, major and minor league baseball and college basketball games. He recently performed at the Arizona Cardinals vs Baltimore Ravens ESPN Monday Night Football game at University of Phoenix Stadium, along with legendary rock band Journey, for a sold out crowd of over 60,000 people. He’s also performed for the Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins, Kansas City Royals, USC, Penn State, and the Atlantic 10 Championship in New York City. Last spring, Michael’s halftime performance for the Chicago Bulls playoff game at United Center caused commentators Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley to react with surprise and amazement live on the air during the “NBA on TNT” broadcast.
During Michael’s upcoming NBA shows, he is planning to perform several grand illusions, in the round, each with a distinct basketball theme, including shrinking a girl to the size of a basketball and levitating 10ft above center court to reach the game ball for the second half.
Michael is certainly one of the country’s busiest entertainers. His magic has been featured in national and international television specials and series (NBC’s “The World’s Most Dangerous Magic”, The CW’s “Masters of Illusion”, Pop’s “Don’t Blink”, the FOX series “Bones”, The Bold and the Beautiful, Sports Center, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight), with Oscar-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch and symphony orchestras, in theaters, casinos, and arenas around the country, in Washington DC’s National Independence Day Parade, and at The White House. Last winter, Michael was a featured performer in the 84th AnnualHollywood Christmas Parade, broadcast worldwide, and he created a special performance blending magic and live music with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, in Huntsville AL. This summer, Michael will be returning with all new illusions for his third season on the hit CW series “Masters of Illusion”.
Michael was recently honored to be the closing performer in the 60th Anniversary of the “It’s Magic!” show at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, in Cerritos, CA (on March 13). A review of Michael’s performance, by an AXS.com reporter in attendance, can be viewed at the following link:
