 The Three Stooges heated up the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with 12 time NHRA champion John Force roaring down the track with Larry, Moe and Curly in John’s Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang funny car.
The event, which ran from October 23rd to the finals on the 26th, was “a natural fit” explained Earl M. Benjamin, C3 president and CEO. “John Force and The Three Stooges represent incredible skill, timing and talent. With a unique paint scheme, a fast and loud funny car and comedy’s all time top trio, you had a lot of fun and excitement for the fans in Las Vegas as well as another benchmark event in The Three Stooges 75th Year Anniversary celebration”.

 Larry, Moe and Curly were at the event (impersonators Alan Semok/Larry, James Skousen/Moe and Dave Knight/Curly) not only providing fun and laughter for the fans but checking out the special paint scheme on the car before the races.
The Boys also scoped out the engine and gave driver John Force some last minute tips before taking off down the track. John didn’t make it to the finals in Las Vegas but one of his cars, driven by Tony Pedregon, did win the event to keep the funny car championship firmly in the grasp of John Force Racing.

 For the C3 staff members the event was exciting…and incredibly loud! We were able to watch several races right from the starting line. Ear plugs a definite must. Quite a different perspective from watching at home on TV or from the stands. The sights and sounds were spectacular and from up close you get an entirely new appreciation of the sheer power and speed generated by these mechanical marvels.
All in all, a very exhilarating and fun event for The Three Stooges.
The Three Stooges also ran in the NASCAR Charlotte 500 with NASCAR champions Michael Waltrip, Darrell Waltrip and Jimmy Spencer. Over 200,000 fans roared as The Three Stooges race cars zipped around the track.
