Winter Dance Party is a tribute show and commemorates the infamous 1959 Tour by rock legends Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens. The tour ended in a tragic plane crash and is referred to as the day the music died.
The Winter Dance Party continues to perform the classic 1950’s hit songs from these rock legends like “That’ll Be The Day,” “Peggy Sue,” “La Bamba,” and “Chantilly Lace” – all Rock ‘n’ Roll classics that remain popular today.
Winter Dance Party performs on national TV and, since 1999, to millions of fans in sold-out live shows throughout the United States and Canada at performing art centers, concert halls, theaters, ballrooms, and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Fans refer to the Winter Dance Party as “unforgettable,” “amazing” and “like being transported back in time.”
C3 has developed a licensing program for the brand and the story of the Winter Dance Party and the tragic deaths of the 1950’s rock legends so compelling that C3 is also developing an all-new motion picture about the Winter Dance Party. C3 also represents rock legend The Big Bopper.
